What You’ll Do
As an experienced CPA, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients and strengthening our team. Your responsibilities will include:
· Preparing personal tax returns, compilation and review engagements
· Assisting with client bookkeeping, including payroll and government filings matters internally and externally.
· Investigating queries, discrepancies and collaborating with management to resolve client issues on various matters including CRA reviews and audits.
· Communicating with government agencies regarding assessments and information requests
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s not only technically skilled but also thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:
· CPA designation with 3+ years of experience in public practice
· Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
· Proficiency in Caseware, TaxCycle, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within time budgets
· Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
· Experience preparing T4s and T5s, GST returns, T1’s and T2’s returns, and Caseware
· Experience with year-end engagements preferred (training available for the right candidate)
